the 2900 is a GREAT radio for any price. if by chance you would need the 75 watts, it's there, BUT it's going to get hot fast. the huge heat sink does well, but a cheap desktop fan, the 4" ones would be great. i get rave signal reports on my 2900, and that's compared to my 8800, 880 and 7000...
