I started looking at all the trucks I pass by lately and most are running multiple antennas. Not dual 11m, but varying lengths. So most have moved over to differnt freqs. Granted, most of these appeared to be long haul guys and not local.

x2 here. I've got a 980 hole cut into my truck dash that this'll fit perfectly. But at that price I can replace the cut section and get a different radio with similar options. Maybe they'll be a 2nd gen that's better.

Thanks. The pot on the solder side looks out of place to me. It's got all the channels and seems to be in fair shape. Haven't gotten to make any contacts on it yet. I got it for my little car and its still not on the road yet.
