I would like to trade this 3900 for a 440 rig. I'm looking for mobile or base, no HTs. My radio works as it should. Cosmetics are so so. The bezel has some scratches, as does the face. As far as I can tell it's an unmolested radio, except for 11 meter conversion.
Thanks.
I do have admin privileges. It seems to install fine but when I try to open the program I get a message about some file that did'nt install properly. I'll have to try agian and I'll right down the message.

So...I left the window open in my truck and the 2800 got rained on. Then the LCD display was missing some segments of the numbers. I replaced the LCD thinking that was the problem. But it did not fix it. There was some corrosion on the circiut board. I cleaned that off. It did not seem real bad...
I found a Realistic TRC-432. It is in nice shape, even had the owner's manual. Everything works. Seems like a decent rig. Definitaly worth the $5.00 I payed. Wondering if anyone has any expierience with these? And any tips or tricks for add-ons, ect.
Thanks,
KC9LJO
I know you can buy a adapter plug that will do what you want. I have one for my 148. I think I got mine on ebay, for less than $10.00 if I remember correctly.

Yes, I do have my ticket. And no I do not know everything about radio equipment. I assume you DO know everthing, except how to be polite, or spell SEEM!

Thanks for the advice guys. I found and downloaded the operating manual, and schematic. I am pretty sure it is still in stock configuration, and was just being used on 11 meters. So it should work fine on 10.
Thanks agian,

I have a Kris Boomer amp that was being used on 11 meters. It was originally intended for 10 and 6 meters. I would like to use it on 10 meters, and was wondering what modifications would have been made to operate it on 11 meters. So I can change it back.
Thanks in advance,
Dave KC9LJO
