    What makes a linear squeal?

Yea. I agree on NOT clipping a limiter. And the ferrite chokes also work good for me so far with Minor rf issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. 45, North Florida

    Kenwood ts820 power output

Ok. I did a little internal tuning on the coil pack and now am seeing 90-100 watts. Also on the high voltage setting of the radio meter, the reading is about 300 and at full output the meter drops to about 270. Is this too much drop? Filter caps maybe? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. 45...

Kenwood ts820 t-ssb control on bottom of radio.

I noticed that this pot changes the tx audio tone. Is there a proper way to set this or do you simply set it for best/desired tone? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. 45, North Florida

    What makes a linear squeal?

I also had this problem with a galaxy 44 and a Texas star 400 in my truck. Yet my 2950 that I currently run would not do the squeal thing. My problem was the radio I'm thinking because I tried a total of 5 radios with the same dead key other than the galaxy and none of them did it. I think the...
