Run the ground to one of the small metal "cans" on the circuit board....
Scrape the corner of the metal can with a razor blade, apply flux to scraped area, and use at least a 15-30 watt iron... Then it will stick just fine......

Since the original question said "magnet mount", I would go with the Wilson.....
I would not go with the 10k, unless you were going to reinforce your roof, and hard mount the antenna.....
Thanks for the info... I have a friend that works in the aero space industry, and he brought home some 2'' solid teflon rod for me.... I have access to a mill, but have to pay to use the lathe....
Update.....
I installed the kit, without the diode, and it works great. It locked in on all freqs without any adjustment.....
Also, I put the expo A+ in a brand new Cobra 29 LTD Classic, and the radio came from the factory with NO diode at D13 anyway :?:

I need to replace the diode that comes with the kit, that goes at location D13. It's used to broadband the VCO range....
Does anyone know a replacement part number for the diode ???
