I have a 2510 and the Lincoln. Astatic 636 on one and the original RK56 on the other. They work but not like the 575M6.

The best mic that I found for this radio was Astatic 575M6 but they don't make it anymore and everyone wants an arm and leg for a used one.

Had 2 radios done there(29,148GTL). 29 is going good but the 148 is a mess. The sideband is all messed up and understandable. I think he turned a few to many pots. This was done about 7 months ago and I'm in AL and don't get back to my home town that often.

They have the trucks turned down(speed and horsepower) to where they are a hazard, why would they even bother turning on the radio. They only turn on when they come to a stop and want to know why.

I run a Ranger 2970N2 in my 379 Pete and works great. Have mine running thru a predator 10K and have had no issues with it. Do need to make sure that you have the antenna set up right with that radio. AM audio is loud with a road king mic and SSB has allowed me to talk all across this screwed...
