Like the title says, a random wire straight into the tuner. Im concerned with lengths to avoid or go for and grounding the system. I will make or buy an end fed at some point but right now its a pain as I will have to import it to DU land.

Not yet. I keep refreshing the exam results page though. Some friends say it'll take at least a month and the hard copy(which I'll need to apply for the upgrade} will take even longer... :(

I started studying for the upgrade a week after passing Tech. :D Just reading and taking mock exams and researching. Nothing too serious, just spent a little time because I don't like to cram. :)
