    hello tony,did you check to see if yours is a - or + recorder,example if you have a + then you need + plus dvd disc to record correctly .and if - then - dvd disc for that one , then when you finalize it then it will play in both - and +. i burn directv all the the time with no problems hope...

    i know its been awhile since this topic was staterd.but i have had time to use my 706mkiig and other mics. And i could not find one to beat the stock mic that came with the radio. :D after time and effort to adjust the mic gain and compresser and carrier freq. i got it dailed in for my voice...

    hello hammer i have one and i have had it since 97 and it still kicking. i use to run it with a 2950, and a ts 430 kenwood at the base. i didnt really need it with kenwood but every now and then i would kick it in . i would see about 525 -600 pep . with the alc on the 430 it never put out more...
