After years of running different verticals I have come to feel the difference in real world is not huge. May make a bit of difference in DX if you are +1 s-unit in bad conditions but in most cases you will be heard or not heard.

Don't want one just don't know what purpose they would serve.

Red loctite means your never taking the set screw out ever again. Blue means you can take it out in the future to adjust swr, etc.
