Just got my Predator 10K, 27" shaft single coil. I am amazed how precision and finely crafted this antenna is. Built very well. Now, getting ready to go mount it, tune it, and try it out!

I will not be running any amp. Never have. Just my President Lincoln ll V3 and the Whip and Predator for the testing. The Predator made it to our post office here and is showing now as "out for delivery", so, should get it by 10 or 10:30 AM this morning.

I just ordered a 5.5 ft Francis this morning. Never owned one but from what I hear, they are a great antenna. Walcott had the best buy I could find, even including their shipping.

I have a brand new Sigma 5/8 silver rod with the 3 small radials still in the box. All I've done is open it and look at it and right back in the box it went. When I bought it I believe I paid about $78 dollars for it. That was 3 yrs ago or so. Where I live I'm not allowed to put up any antenna...

Will be tried top dead center of an extended cab pickup truck cab. Both 102 ss whip and Predator. One right after another. I will drive about 9 or 10 miles away and will change antennas while my buddy Darryl gets readings from both. Should show which one does best on my particular vehicle, anyway.

Does a Predator talk DX better than a 102" ss whip? Is that something they may do better? I don't know but, I'm sure gonna try and find out.
