Hands down, ALL the Unidens are built better than the Cobras. I have never been disapointed in the power and quality of audio of the Unidens vs. its Cobra counterpart!

I like this radio too. However, for the money, I would purchase a General Grant. Pretty much the same radio only without echo. QuackShack had them for 385. You wont find a 95T for that!

Oh, BTW, it is kinda hard to input your noises etc. Examine the microphone, it is also the speaker.

You are on the right track....... The hard thing about the quality is dependent upon your volume level and clarity of what you record to it. You will have to play with it to get the levels right.

EHam isnt going to sell a non ham anything! SB-220 is a GREAT amp. Tubes are EXPENSIVE! If you want a very good investment.... Seek out an Ameritron 811 or 811H. You aren't going to do 2k with it but rather 450 and 700 respectively. When its time to retube though.......30 to 50 dollars...
