    Copper wire antenna free space gain,

    Zepp,,double extended zepp etc etc. As mentioned in previous posts is does not increase "gain" it just re directs the signal into a tighter lobe at the expense of adding nulls in other areas. Bobtail curtain, half square, just a few off the top of my head.

    It is an antenna, nothing fancy about it, Do not over think it, use what you have laying around, I do not think any of the PVC is conductive, Ugly balun wont hurt and may keep your neighbors happy by reducing or eliminating CMC on the feed line.

    https://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/1376 Very lossy matching network in both the I2K and A99, but both present a use able vswr on multi bands. Can not say they are efficient but they do throw a lobe out .
