    take it from me, i had a 3 element flat on a rohn h50 maxed all the way up, forgot to lower it down and tornado winds came thru, now i'm waiting to put a tower up.But those masts are really good just make it more stable and should be fine

    I run an electro voice RE20 on my 2517 no other gear just the mic and everyone says best sounding station, with comments like that no need to have anything but just the MIC.I've heard myself on another station and it does sound really sweet and clear.Maybe the best i've heard in my area

    i've had the 103c flatside with very pleasant noise almost couldn't believe it. And also went vertical with it and heard an increase in noise. I know that my signal in most cases on flat was a s6 with about 50 watts for local, now when i put 2000 watts it came up to a 10 and that was around...

    ok so you think a 5 element on vertical will outdo an omni 15 miles away both at same height...what im saying is someone 15 miles away is putting a s7 with my omni, i point that 5 element vertical right at him, is it gonna be enough difference

    was wondering not sure if this has been beat to death, but lets say my 103c is flat and i put the Macov5000 about a foot above on the same mast and rid the v5000 of the ground radials, now would the v5000 use the flat 103c as a good groundplane or would it just mess with the pattern..i thought...

    ok took antenna to amp....and reading from mfj R=50 x=14 and right around 55 ohms, swr is 1.3...now gonna have all 3 inline and(OFF) and do a reading

    the ohms with just the antenna is around 70ohms but i'll do some more testing with the jumpers, maybe i need to go to 3ft jumpers instead of 6ft...i take it 70ohms is bad!
