ok,scratch what i said above..the wire in the sky dipole from ebay kicz azz..i put it 35 ft up today in a inverted V at 4 degree angle and i must say im impressed..i cold hear skip today which was a good day over 3000 miles in many directions..even got my president grant working right and talked...

and everyone seems to like the A models better..i dont see why as i have 1 of each and the 23 ch model gets all the same channels and has better features imo,like the hands free vox,and mine all works right thankfully. not to mention i can hook up 3 different radios and the older 201 recieves...

i have this radio..just installed it today..wondering why i cant talk on ssb channels..maybe it needs a mod i dont no about..id think since it came with 40 ch that ssb should talk like am does..any idea?

got the ebay dipole up aprox 35 ft..thats 15-20ft higher than my astroplane thats in the trees.the dipole is in a open place much better than the a.plane to make a long story short theres no compairson..the astroplane has much much less noise and 10 times better ears,even tho its on the...

yep,thats where i cut first the red wire..well red and white:D i clipped it at where it enters the diode,and im 99 percent sure its correct.. the next clip i clipped the bottom right org/wh wire on back side of the last leg of the diode,, and lost am recieve so hooked back up. then made the last...
