Someone at this year's Vintage Computer Festival, had the TV series streaming random episodes on the small TV they put together using a raspberry Pi board. You could switch to the next random episode by pressing your foot on the pedal they had.

Mother Nature was nice to me here in Kansas. Had fun on AM and talking to a handful of stations. 713 Virginia and 199 North Carolina were two loud stations coming on in.

You hit the nail on the head. Another reason I can think of using DVI is because it is much harder to break off vs a HDMI port. Those DVI to HDMI cables work just fine.

To be sure, wasn't there a difference in the Texas Star DX500v amps like the new vs old? I suppose the build quality or maybe the newer ones werent quite as good? Just making sure if that was ever a thing on the Texas Star amps.

I havent had the best of luck doing this. :) i did buy some trim pot resistors so you can set the gate voltage. From what I understood, some IRF520s need a higher gate voltage so they turn on. I think one needed to "match" a set of transistors for the amp. Otherwise, I was able to use some...

Cut very small lengths and check your SWR to be sure its getting closer to where you want it to be. Dont want to cut off 1" at a time, but more like 1/4 at time when you are really getting close. I have a cutting wheel to take off bits off the antenna whip. maybe the initial cut off an inch...

You will be fine at 1.5 watts on AM. SSB I personally never try and push the KL-203 with more than 10 watts during peaks. I did unlock the clarifier on the 980 earlier this year. Simple enough to do.
