Yes Google it. Its those ac timers you use for like lamps and such. I bought mine at Home Depot but they are sold everywhere. Fixed both my Madison clocks. Open it up and use the gear to replace the bad one in the base clock.

Just curious. How many of you use this? Ive been using it over 30 years now and for me, I fly thru troubleshooting no or low rf output power problems. You can find them on ebay +/- $40. Really helps dial in what section the problem is in. I hope this helps someone.

So, if I were to completely ground all grids on the power tubes, would it make the amp more "reliable" along with there being a little less output power and longer tube life? I noticed the PAL amps are totally grounded grid only.

Ive not found a schematic showing this unfortunately. So is 1 transformer feeding 1 set of tubes and the other feeding the rest of the power tubes? Thats the only thing that makes sense to not overload just 1 transformer for all tubes.

Paralled??? What was I thinking??? LOL!

Going thru my notes, i found an old trick my elmer showed me. And it works. I paralled two 11.325 mhz crystals, and the darn thing aligned right up as if i had just the 11.3258 crystal in there. Until the correct crystal comes in, i can sleep at night knowing the clarifier is a 1 pm and not 9 pm.
