Generally in the 'past' I have been able to import radios from the overseas with no issues. I purchased the CRT 9900v4 from the UK before it was available here in the US or Amazon. Just sending a few emails to UK dealers will let you know who has what. And 'some' have been known to reroute...

Here's a additional tidbit about Mr Delgado , he has been warned by the FCC in the past. In February of 2018 he was sent a FCC warning letter for unlicensed operations on the amateur bands. So it appears that he has a habit of being a problem...... Do stupid things...... 73 Jeff

That was a common failure, I have seen 2 other early 2970 radios that did this. That amp on the bottom just continually heat cycled the radio creating broken solder joints. I don't like radios with PA's strapped on the bottom, never have. 73 Jeff

Have they addressed your lost tube? If I read correctly they are going to continue to build and sell new tubes, just no more rebuilding. Seems like soon the only choice is going to be solid state. Thanks for sharing 73 Jeff
