Hi all, I am looking for the RF output power knob for a Magnum 257HP. It's the small inner one on the top right of the rig. Kind of a rubbery finish to it, mine split in the middle and then I lost the pieces! Anyone have a source?

Have you tried it with Chirp? That's how I did mine. Then when I travel, just use the BT app for local repeaters and add them from channel 100 on up. I change them to whatever city I am in every time, and leave the rest programmed for local use when at home.

I used to run a 718, and remember from the radio forums that static was a major issue with them. I hope you get it back with a reset, but suspect that the lightning might have done some damage.

I 100% agree with you. They made it sound like it would be great to not have to wear glasses, but you still have to wear glasses, just the opposite from what you are used to.
