Well now that is something that I never thought to ask him about QSLing. But I will probably have to ask him next year.
He did say that he has only been there for 10 yrs. and that he was originally from Newfoundland.
I forgot to mention - the contact took place right close to 9:00pm (Pacific)...
Last week I was able to make a good contact to the region of NWT (Northwest Territories), Yellowknife does not have many radio op's there (maybe 3-4).
What was kinda unique was, this is the same time frame (April) that we had made contact last year with each other on 38 lsb.

BB's watch out! Steel inside that copper covering.
I once tried loading steel ball bearing for 12 ga. Ithaca - found out that was not a good thing, end of barrel looked like a "peeled banana"...........................Ya those were the good old days back in the 60's
You could load the BB's...
I use Ammoseek also like S&W357 stated, I ordered over 2500 rds off that site for my 17 Win. Super Magnum Rimfire last year.
Back in 90's I bought a case of 5,000 rds of PMC in 22 LR and they all worked very well.
Sold half of them to customers and no reports of miss fires ever came back.

If I was to buy just factory ammo now days for rifle &...
The only Remington shells that I have bought in the last 20 yrs or so, have been just their high performance 12 shotgun shells. These were great for the long shots on coyotes, but sadly they stop making them a year or so later, probably because of the price - $31.30 a box of 10! That's $3.13 ea...
I will scan the news article and send it to you....
My bowling ball is now a permanent fixture in the wife's flower bed, last time I looked at it, there were several large cracks around it.......

Captured my first state championship back in 1965. I was 17 yrs old then and took the high game and high series out of 400 bowlers. My game was 279 and series was a 634.
Got two trophy's for the effort. I also have the newspaper article with my picture in...

I was listening to MMM a couple few days ago and he was saying that the new beam was such a tight beam width (25 degrees) that it was just to much trouble to go out and keep turning the beam by using the ropes (no rotor).
