I was talking on 38 lsb the other day to a few guys. One had a yaesu ftdx 1200, the other had an ic 7300. Very polite, very informative about their radios/shacks. The guy with the yaesu said all hes run for years on 11 meter was ham rigs. Liked the filters and added control

If i took 20 bucks i would probably be over charging you. For the 20 i spent i also got Maxon MCB-30 and a Uniden Pro 538w along with the 810e. Ohhh, he threw in a antron a99. Shoot, i should of asked if he had the coax.

I picked up a Uniden pro 810 e today for $20 bucks. Plugged it in, hooked up the antenna. Works great. Good reports on ssb. Ive never seen one before. I was just wondering when this radio was made and if there is anything i should look out for. Should i open it up and hit it with compressed air...
I brought in my 980 and rm 203p in from the pickup and hooked up to a new Megawatt p/s. Have it running into an a99 for a temporary base. The amp works on am and ssb both regardless of which mode is selected. From my trusty MFJ 872 swr/watt meter, looks like 50 dead key on am and swinging 90...
