Our local club seems to love the Palomar EFHW for field day. Multi band and easy to put in the air to get ON the air. I have been running a Balun Designs 9:1 unun and random wire with good multi-band luck, but really need it to be higher in the air. Does ok for NVIS on 40 and 80 though. Also...

I've been running Iota power supplies for over 10 years now. They are from the RV arena, and can do both battery charging and work as a switching power supply. No RF hash from them at all. You can also add an adapter if you want to charge LifePo4 batteries (say for a go-kit)...

Loops are cool and they work really well. I'm running one as a multi bander on HF with a Balun Designs 4:1. Mine's in a triangle shape on my roof. Have fun, and good dx!

That's probably one of the toughest environments one could be put in. Really a great concept and they work well, I've talked to several guys that run them. Usually find they have a Taj Majal shack when I look them up on QRZ. :)

Mine didn't really drift, they would just constantly be off frequency. Radios were tuned properly and used in my house, so temps were always low 70's. One day, dead on... next day, sitting on 27.383.8 instead of 385. Next day, 27.387. Tx freq would be different from Rx freq... drove me up...
