Brett I have ran a 636L with mine on the 4 pin side and everyone tells me it sounds decent, the stock power mic does rock, I like mine alot too.

I have seen people do it with scissors also, but like CK said you gotta have the right touch.

So what is the usual fee for a fix on these amplifiers? I assume the 667 wold be the same.

IOTA DLS-90 12 VOLT 90 AMP AUTOMATIC BATTERY CHARGER / POWER SUPPLY Dont know if this is a good price or not, I bought my PowerMax from these guys and they are good to deal with. They were the cheapest I could find on the PowerMax line of power supply.

Mine did well for almost 2 years then produced hash, I am trying to get it replaced. I also had a buzz when I keyed the mic, dont what that is about. Thought it was RF getting into it but now that I have the hash I think it was defective from the start.

Just saw 2 separate listings on the local Craigslist today for TS-520's. One was a TS-520 and the other was a TS-520SE. Both listers wanted $250 for them.

Oh yeah the work car...duh! yeah its good just using as a reference to the way things go for me. As far as the Skipper I got tired of messin with the sweep tubes and traded for the second 667. I wanted a 500 but that is what he had and I went for it.

Oh and I climbed the tower, its a little too windy for me right now to mess with the beam.

Anyone ever go farther with these amps? Guess my 667V is doing the same thing.

Just hooked up my other 667 and it works as it is supposed to on my Sigma IV. Guess I will get the amp repaired and stick the beam in the air.

Replaced c181 the .047uf disc capacitor and still nothing, gonna replace the other 2 caps when I get them, local radio shack didnt have the other 2, just an update.
