Here is what I use for my power mics.
The one in my 575 hand mic lasted 7 yrs and I thought that was great!
The one in my Turner +3 is now into the 3rd year of use.
Big Kahuna,
Jim Creek has been doing some testing in the last 5 months or so, off and on. I yak with a guy that lives close to there in Arlington.
John says that his radio is use less at times on several of the bands, lots of heterodyne comes from Jim Creek.
Being unable to connect to the internet and experiencing slowdowns is frustrating enough, but imagine it happening every day, at exactly 7 am, for 18 months. That’s what residents of a small village in Wales experienced before the unlikely cause was discovered: an old television set.

This compressor will also fill the many paint ball tanks that are around the area, we will charge for each tank that is filled to offset the price.
There are 5 of us that went in on the compressor, so that's only $280 each.
A bigger capacity tank won't do any good, it's already a 5000 psi max tank. It's like I said, the scuba shop can only fill to a max of 3500 psi. My tank is similar to the ones that the firemen use on there backs for air - they are filled at 4500 psi.
There is only one scuba shop around here and it's a 24 mile drive to & from. But they can only fill my tank up to 3500 psi and so I was only able to get about 3 fills from it.
So I then went to a local fire station and was able to get the tank filled to 4500 psi and that made a big difference.
Just make sure you have a good water filter for it - water is not good for the inside of a PCP.
Yes the Chinese pumps are cheaper and there is a reason for it...............
If you go with a hand pump, make sure it's set up for using the water crystals (to remove water).
But best way is getting a 88 cu ft tank. But just make sure you have a way of filling it before you spend the big $$$ for it.
Four of us guys went together and bought a $1300 air compressor last...
