mic wiring this should work fine for you on either cobra or export radio ,,,pin 1 ground and blue together ,,pin 2 white,,,pin 3 red,,,,pin 4 black yellow no conection at all that should cover cobra , uniden , most all 4 pin exports hope this helped

rd104 ive had two rd104s bought one 12 years ago all it did was squeel on anything i put it on ,,, so years later i bought another thinking they fixed the problem ,,, no such luck 100 bucks wasted down the tubes i use a 636 or a rk 56 just as loud and no squeel

twaaang did that to my 104s years ago just did it again just for a hoot works great very unique sound couldnt help but laugh to myself its a hoot

dfb yeah it doesnt do anythign but make the audio garbled on am fm and ssb not sure what its for it isnt even listed in the owners manual as to what it does .. i ll keep my ears open maybe its for something else i havent heard of ,,, thanks guys

wonder if anybody can help me out i have had three rd104e road devil mics and all three have a bad squeel problem , any body have any solutions its a nice mic when it works but mostly squeel no matter where i have it hooked up in the car or the base thanks guys

astatic mic make sure the blue and sheild are together otherwise that would probably happen a simple fix

astatis echo boards ive installed a bunch of the atatics and im not impressed sound alot like the cheezy echo mics the trb-1 is the way to go or if you could find one ,, the original connex lt2 boards the trb is only 20 bucks and worth it even if you dont use all it features
