Been looking for a swing mod for this radio. It has a different # on the pc board than the Grant XL's and so if some one can point me to the right resistor to add the 1N4001 to, I'd appreciate it. preacherman

Have a Lee I bought used...it had the limiter (r249) clipped. I replaced the resistor,but now swing is quite limited on the low power setting. Looking for the info on how to set the Lee up for big audio and swing. preacherman

Is there any special significance...or reason for the 220uf value recommended for swing mods on these radios? I see many so called "kits" on the net that use much smaller caps. I understand that these are cheaper...but what is the diff. in using a 220uf or a 100uf electrolytic in this mod...

What kind of drive wattage (both key and pep) should I be using with a Thunderbolt 101 sweep tube amp? Is 3 watts swinging to 18-20 too much to put into it? tnx, preacherman
