I own a Stryker 995 and have no problems with it at all. What is the problem you are seeing.

It's just a jumper inside the radio behind the mike socket if it not already set for 11 meter.

I never knew my stryker had a full face protector until it started bubbling. They are making these screen protectors fit the radios perfectly so I think a lot of people don't notice them.

Are you sure, mine has a screen protector that covers the hole front panel not just the lcd display area.

They are marked on the board, you just need a magnifying glass to see them. :ohmy:

Just leave the screen/face protector on as long as possible should help keep it mark free.

It comes with a screen protector already on the radio.

The stock mike plugged in to the front works with VOX. Not sure what you are supposed to plug in the rear. But it's a smaller hole than that of the extension speaker socket.

Just got my Stryker and the power meter and swr meter are reading the same as my Revex power/swr meter.

Try running the radio in to a dummy load to eliminate any antenna problems. I have a 955 arriving tomorrow so will test it at the side of my power meter.

Found this in the loft but cannot remember what it's for. Anyone know what it's called or what frequencies it's for. I'm thinking it's a wide band receive antenna because it's got 5 wire wound coils getting bigger towards the top. Here's a picture.

I have just bought the MK3 version, so far everything seems good. No vfo wobble or display problems. The function button is now on the clarifier, and the dual knobs have been replaced with plastic knobs so that when turning one the other does not move. I much prefer this radio to my Ranger...

Can someone give me more info on how exactly to adjust these gate voltages for the driver and final. Where do you connect the volt meter to and what trimmer (VR) adjusts each voltage. ?
