I guess I need to clarify
Mole,
I meant without the cables! It seems as though an wireless adapter using a micro-controller could be built and plugged into the CAT port. Anyway, I guess you'll need to generate enough interest that the MFG's will be able to justify costing it in and...
How about the using the Cat port?
Moleculo,
I don't know what kind of equipment you have, but it seems like a lot of the control functions you want to do could be interfaced through the CAT port that most modern rigs have. You might want to look into that.
There is...
Do it yourself!
Why don't you just add bluetooth capability to your existing gear? Check out the youtube videos on adding bluetooth to amateur radio equipment by Randy K7AGE. I've been looking at doing it to my rigs. No modifications to the radios it uses off the shelf equipment.
Stick with it!

1. Start with your local club/ clubs. Attend a meeting or two (most clubs have websites). Club meetings are a great place to find Elmers. When the club members find out you are interested in getting...
I've always wanted a TEN TEC!
I've been looking at this rig and I think this one will make me finally take the plunge! The specs. look good and the small footprint, DSP and tuner will be welcome additions.
My current H.F. equipment consists of a Heathkit HW-7, Yaesu FT-817ND and a Kenwood...

I've tried!
I agree with some of the previous posts. Some times I think Fred is his own worst enemy. As my user name says, I work qrp most of the time and one evening while monitoring 80 meters I stumbled across the Marconi net. I was hearing quite a few of the stations so I figured I'd give it...
