    Does anyone know of any reputable person that sales refurbished or in good working order, Tram, Browning, or older tube type radios and amps? I really dont want to purchase off of ebay then have to send it out to be repaired. I would rather spend extra and know that I am getting a good product...

    I have a M104 that I purchased to install on my tower. I wish that I would of went with the 105. Would I be able to tell the difference between the 104 and 105? If its worth it, I can buy some aluminum tubing and add boom length and elements.

    Has anyone used expanding polyurethane foam to set a tower base with? I watched a you tube video from a company called Secure Set Products that installed a rohn 45 tower with it. They then used a crane to pull the tower tip 6 foot past plumb, which was more than spec called for. It held up fine...

    another option is to make a extension shaft to go on the antenna you have now. I did that for one of my 10k's and it works fine and you cant tell the difference. Just make sure to tap the 3/8x24 hole deep and replace the stock stud with a stainless grade 8 piece.

    4000 thanks marconi for the reply. Now if I can get some free time I will see what I can put together. I know some have used a modified gamma from maco so I guess I will do the same. It will be alot easier that way I supose.
