i have a meter. but your saying to just leave L6 alone. just clip D14. i just did front panel off and i see there is no way of putting blue lite in it.
help
just clip the d14.(right) L5 just spead the copper wire. L6 is marked on board by final, but it must be the pot full of wax correct. if so just heat wax to remove it.
let me know
thanks

would like to know what you all think about comparing cobra 29 to a cobra 148.
i'm looking for a nice night watch radio and was thinking between these two radios.
i know the 148 has upper/lower which i will never use.
i just worder which one could be peaked out the best.
it a 959 not 979 my mistake. it states.
red wire to power source.
orange hook up to power source ,but pass threw a switch to turn on/off.
black ground .
red shield is audio out from board. attach to pin 1 of microphone jack.
white shield audio in. attach to pin 1 of mic. jack.
could some body explain how to install echo board.
the board is a BB-2 board. i'm going to install the knob on the side of radio.
where can i found 9 volts to hook red wire to.
does the red and white wire both get hooked to pin 1 of microphone like it states.
thanks
