Huge 6 meter opening 7-12-06

I heard there was a huge 6 meter opening yesterday. Magic Band does it's thing Of course, I was no where near my radio! Anyone else catch it?

6 meter and PSK31

There seems to be no shortage of PSK31 and other digital modes on the HF bands but I've only heard two others on 6 meter using PSK31. Why? Since it seems to be a very efficient mode of communications (I talked to Wisconsin from Virginia on 5 watts and a vertical) I'm surprised I don't hear more...
