    I just saw this thread and I am going to try it for the ignition and fuel pump noise in my diesel truck but I have a quick question. Red into the box is power in? Red out of box from the cap to the radio? Black from cap to the ground? Is this correct?

    thanks for the reply back.... I deceded that I was going to purchase 2 units to capture the 3 bands that I wanted and just before I made the purchase a slightly used VX-7R was offered to me for less then the combined cost of both Wouxun radios so I bought the VX-7.
