    Thats the same setup I have.. Minus the preamp......I have not seen a need to use my tuner yet,running a 10-80/75 dipole and my 6m and 2m are seperate antanas ... sorry off topic....

    I looked at that one also....it seems i can mount a omni about a foot below the CP-62 but then would have to deal with 2 coax cables so i decided just to go with the 62 for ssb and fm,my roof will be full hahaha..I'll post a pick when all is done.

    Ok so after a long night of reading and other opinions I have decided to put up a vertical now knowing haveing a repeater close by isn't all that important for 6m ssb and FM simplex...... Thanks for those that responed to my post.....I now will decide what Vertical to get and hopefully reach...

    A50-3S yagi would work right...... If there are no repeaters around me a vertical will not work right so it would need to be a OA-50 or a yagi right.....

    OK here is a pick of my roof......The 2m is on the north side and i removed the Maldol and put the gray pipe with balun on that tripod....Cleaned up the roof abit so now my option is mounting a 3rd 3ft tripod between the two already there and either put a vertical on a 6ft pole with a loop...

    I tried to mount the face under the vent but the shifter hit it when you put it in drive,looked way better under the vent but just wasn't going to work,no way,no how.

    When I tighten the cable it runs down the dash trim line,looks way better but need to p/u some good 3m plastic nub style velcro and cut some little strips to hold it streight...stuffs awsome it holds my TM271A under the dash in my Buick,no screws,takes alot of pulling and a screwdriver to undo...
