Don't know when they started the so called 3x4's or4x4 digits & letters, but mine was in the mid 70's to late 70's , KAFS-4270.

I see what u mean now. I did not know,i just signed up on both Forums before trying to view things on the sites a couple months ago. Thats why i don't have much computer experince until last 1 or 2 yrs.. Still learning every month, a little here & there. Sure learned alot about cb's since...
