I don’t recommend using an NMO mount. They aren’t as strong as a 3/8"-24 mount, and with a large 11-meter antenna, the mount could be easily ripped out if it strikes something.

While I agree somewhat to what is said here I see nothing but bad coming from AI. You said it yourself, to stand to make a lot of money off AI, so do those that will use it for wrong.

After almost forty years in IT, I will never use Windoze at home. I’ve dealt with their bloated, poorly coded mess for decades, and that’s more than enough for one lifetime. My main laptop runs Linux, and I keep a couple of Macs around for my photography business. I’d happily use Linux for that...

While I never used one I have seen them, you could make one yourself and learn in the process.

Ham sticks, while not the best they are clearly not "dummy loads", I ran them for years before going to a High Serria Side Kick screw driver. To nfsus, the type of mount will be just as important as the antenna itself. The down side of running ham sticks is bandwidth, a ham stick will not cover...
