I've problems with this Uniden because te power is ok but audio in TX is 0 and in RX is too slow. I think maybe be the ending steps or te power... but in a test with a mate, he says that he receives but not audio, only the signal in the smeter...

To be honest, fiberglass antenas doesnt work in dry places. Where I live some people has been problems with them beucase the dry weater finally dry the antena too and can break it. I preffer metalllic, same as President Black Pirate o the Mantova Turbo. It is my simple opinion. 73's

lol I am a few "maniatic" with the radios. An stupid example: when someone give me a radio for fix, the first thing is clean it with a wet sterilized for babies towel externally and open it in a open place (I hate the tobacco odour). I dont know why some equipments has bottoms same a bad quality...

Really is the same dog with a different ribbon. Maybe is only a software difference based on prog in dig mods (no, it is impossible) or in the prog of the external apps. Here in Europe, the differences between v4 and v.5 is not important.
