Trying to find schematics that list the voltages on each circuit within the radio. I would like to know what voltage is supposed to be applied to the finals when you transmit.
I have a general Lee that’s only putting out 10 Watts. I’ve checked the transistors with a multi meter, they test good as in they’re not shorted but is that a proper test or do I have to purchase a transistor tester? Any help would be appreciated thank you.
Another thing to note that could possibly be connected with this problem. When I connect my frequency counter or oscilloscope to TP 5 to check the frequency I get nothing unless I unhook the ground on the probe then the frequency bounces around all over the place but nowhere close to where it is...
I used my Kenwood TS 940S to receive and that is the frequency that it was broadcasting on. I’m thinking IC3 the “phase lock Loop” PLL is malfunctioning... ♂️
I have a galaxy that transmits fine on upper and lower sideband and the frequency display is correct on both. But when I switch to AM for instance channel 1 the read out is 26.985 but it’s actually transmitting on 26.527 any ideas?
