    tram d201` hand wired vox version

    Tram D201 My Tram had the same issue. It was the 12BY7A tube socket for the driver. Cleaned it up and realligned the tube pins. Was only doing 1.5 watts on low power. After I cleaned the socket and tube pins it runs 3 watts on low and 12on high and is back to normal.

    Why do hams resort to going back to cb? I know of at least ten hams who are always on cb running their amps. I thought that using amplifiers on cb was illegal?? Just my thought!!!

    Holden tube amp....500

    Just bought one off Ebay. The relay was shorted and one bad tube. Replaced the relay and some diodes and it works great.
