    Low RX volume on dx 44v

    When you turn in it is fine but after about a 45 sec the volume fades out to where i have to turn it wide open. I have replaced d24. I acts like a cap it shorting out but i cant find it any help:bdh:

    Galaxy dx44v low poweroutput

    I have a galaxy 44 that will only key 1/2 wat and swing about 2 watts. I have lifted the center leg on final and driver and either one will kill any output. Any help thanks :confused1:

    What is the most swing you would want to put in to a low drive? Some new radios will swing 60 watts. Say you got a 250 dx

    88 low power output

    I have a 88 with Dual final. The radio would do about 50 watts and then it droped to 25. If it lost a driver or one final would it cause this? How do you check the finals? I installed a af power kit from road star and a m80. This happened about 3 weeks after the mods

    My buddy brought his 500 dx over was going to hook up and see what it was doing on meter. Then he hooked the + to the- just touched it a small spark. And when he hooked it up right i keyed up and smoke L1 was fried and help? Anyone had this to happen...
