10 Meter Ham Stick

Every hamstick I’ve ever used had to be shortened in order to work on its intended frequency. My guess is a ten meter stick will work on 11 meters.
Do that, and then build an 11 meter dipole using the usual formula. Mount both antennas at the same height and try A/B comparisons between them. I think you'll find that a dipole made to the usual dimensions will outperform shortened ones by a mile. Or kilometer.
If the only difference is a mile or so in distance covered, why bother?

Apparently quite embarrassed. LOL Old eyes and arthritic hands made me do that. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. NOW I'll be quiet.

If he shortens it, it will work on 6m not 11m
. Point is, it needs to be lengthened, not shortened to work on 11m. Also, the efficiency is good on 10/11m. Not much loading at these freqs.
