Postman just pulled up and honked.

“there’s a package I can’t deliver, you’re going to need to pick it up”

Had a feeling this was coming. Found a 102” whip with free shipping (I imagine the shipping is worth more than the antenna). Whatever...my price included postage.

Was supposed to be here a week and a half ago. Shock...lol!!

So do I tell the post office to rebate the delivery, or just pick up and shut up?

Last time I ordered a few 60lb boxes of lead alloys they acted the same way :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

Free always sounds like the best choice.

It’s not even really a bother, to be honest. I’m laughing and lighthearted in my thoughts.

At the same time...if you weighed my flat rate packages the post office has made a killing off me. Then when they’re heavy, they won’t deliver and I have to pick up.

I guess I’m half serious....or maybe 40% (n)(n)

I don’t know what the packaging is...but I assuming it’s little more than a pound total.

Funny part to me is he’s in a large van, and maybe 25 years old..”I can’t deliver it”.

In truth, he’s a really nice young guy. I‘d never give him a hard time (and didn’t today). Our regular lady is sweet as can be, too. They both get Xmas gifts from us :)

I dont usually have issues with irregular size packages. If I know something is extra heavy or long like an antenna ill pick it up just to save my carrier the hassle. Most of the long items I buy like that ship fedex.

It’s actually been much the same for me. I was surprised this shipped USPS. I’ve often told the nice lady just to let them pile up, and I’ll come get them.

Funny, the fellas at the post office tend to have an attitude about that.
