And now to get back on track after reading your post I turned on my DX 2547 and caught the tail end of the DX. And a few minutes later it was gone.

We had thunderstorms move in early last night and they have been around all day. Which is nice, because we'll take all the rain we can get. But my radios have been disconnected....

Had some conditions early this morning while I was getting ready for work. Nothing on the sideband channels, but had locals from Kentucky on 31 AM.

Turned on the DX 2547 this morning and DX was rolling a little & was able to make a Wisconsin contact on 38lsb who said my radio sounded good, so I guess it is burning thru the clutter. Unfortunately for me I couldn't pull him out real well because of the clutter. But it is a start so when I get more time I'll have to break out The Golden Screwdriver ! LOL
Just squeezed out a Kentucky contact out of the mess on 36 or 37 lsb. The most it has talked since I took it out of Retirement. Might be worth spending a few bucks in. LOL

I talked to Puerto Rico and San Francisco earlier today on my 6666Pro.
Does that Quad 6 Pro have the same 6 pin microphone jack that you can use the President BT-Mike with ? What is your evaluation of the Q6 Pro is it as good as the Q5n2 or better ?

Got out of shower 5:55 pm.sat at radio n was floating through the channels n BOOM i got 1634 burmuda islands on 35 lsb.we even talked a small bit that was 6 pm midwestern time
West Coast And Texas DX was strong today. Talked to 762 Glenn, 605 Brad, WR461 Mike, and 752, all out of the Lonestar. California was booming with contacts with 754 Mojave, WR159 Stockton 442 Palm Springs, 3308 Pete in Ventura , and 4226 around LAX. Several Florida stations too. Good DXin' day.
