11 meter is very quiet?

Going to the shack about 2 PM this afternoon. 27.375 L and 27.445L. I had great success on both freqs yesterday. Hope today will be the same. Got all the honey-dos finished so this afternoon is radio day. I should be off and on until suppertime (6 PM).

I called WWDX starting at 11 pacific until now, one contact on .375 Mike in Louisiana and then amused my wife who was in the store by making a couple contacts on .025 on AM.
Something was overloading the pa system in the store.
That was about it for me today.

Great contact with 399 JJ down in Medellin this afternoon! Had a nice uninterrupted QSO for a few minutes.....conditions up and down, but 100% copy.

I heard 399 telling someone about the 82 degrees and puffy clouds down in Columbia, then 010 in Hawaii had the show.

I made contacts on AM to south Florida and to southern California from south Texas this evening.

I heard the 909 booming in - but I think he had a pile up and my 100 watts into my Sirio 5000 just couldn't break though!

11 meters has been quite in the mornings here in Texas but comes alive in the afternoon. Hopefully i can make some contacts with WDX members later.

At least I have been able to listen to 15 and 20 meters. The dip in 11 meter activity has me really thinking about getting my ham license. I had started studying for it a few years ago but never followed through. I am finally able to get a couple of antenna up here at my little cabin. My place is coming along slowly. I should have the kitchen finished by June. At least I have bedroom and bathroom mostly finished.
