Yes...it was Jose. I heard him calling out several times but didn’t hear him in conversation with anyone.

It amazes me the signal those fellas in Brazil put out at times. That’s a radio-rich area.

Quiet as can be here, so I’m playing with a mic on 27.405...sure enough Witch Doctor with a “hello mello-jello”. Haha.

Got French Canadian transmissions all the way down here. Half French-Canadian/ English. Definitely not Cajun-French. No contacts.

Was able to have a small skip conversation with some guy in Mobile Alabama. That’s pretty good me being in SoCal!!! All this with a HH Uniden and a Lil Will antenna. I couldn’t believe it!!! Was getting the same skip in my truck so ya conditions were right.

I want to say yes. I don’t remember his name to well but he was from Mobile. It was funny cause I did a radio check and he responded. He would say breaka breaka every other fourth word smashing other people. Now it didn’t last long till the conditions changed.

No kidding!! Going to need a interpreter next time. That deep southern draw mixed with super duper modulation. So cool!!

I did have one distinct southern accent repeat my call letters, and said "Hello neighbor".

Then everybody started talking at once. While later Sacramento, CA was making it's way in and only had time to repeat calls and transmission dropped.
