Only weak DX for me the past couple days, but a few QSOs with my son. If I were forced to make the choice I’d take that over the rarest of DX contacts.
It’s his mobile to my horizontal dipole...amazing we can achieve the distances we do.
He’s running my totally stock 980 with a stock mic. Must say...that rig sounds absolutely spectacular every time we talk.

I just listen today, some come and go. I don't really feel like trying. My head hurts. Friend showed up with 18 pack last night around 10:30.....by midnight we needed more. Drinking and trying to negate friends passing with the many problems of people getting ugly.
