11 meter is very quiet?

Heard Alabama and Florida this afternoon and it has been rolling strong even after sun set. Having fun stretching my legs.
Made a few 38Lsb contacts on the way home in CT in to North Carolina on my barefoot McKinley.
Almost 8pm here and the AM guys still talking in to the south. This is sitting on my work bench with a Lil Will mag mount out the window on an AC condenser

Yep Eskip rolling...Very cool at least 10 contacts on 6 meters...Last couple /3 hours
All over Florida from Ind...last 2 contacts lasted an easy 30 minute rag chew with Huge signals from a couple stations in excess of 20 over S9
They don't call it the "Magic" Band for nothing.

11 meter lit up across the band here in NC.
Still rolling here in KY just talked to several stations on 28 in Louisiana
Nothing here as usual. I had forgotten why I got my general, its because there is rarely good 11m skip here. You all kinda suck
I could hear a little on Sideband today as I moved truck around. But not qualifying as, “Hey, t’was rollin’ thru strong today”.

DX started happening late this afternoon in NC. Had a big time with 21 QSO’s in 13 different states plus Canada all on LSB.
Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, New York, Missouri, Georgia, Michigan, Virginia, Florida, Alabama, New Jersey, Delaware, Ontario.

Please guys understand this is not a BRAG...I know this is 10/11m propagation thread.
However, I do this sometimes because the "Gray Line/Meteor Scatter" propagation can be very similar in both frequency ranges.
This activity is all near the same time frame every morning.
The time frame of Sunrise +/- 1 hour.
You just have to try the band and see, those with Horizontal rotatable antennas need to try in all directions.
These contacts tend to come in "waves" as you can look at the time stamp on the log. Many cases it may take 2-3 times calling, then listening for you to "catch" the peaks and complete the contact.
Fun Stuff to me, challenging for certain. Most certainly takes patients and little luck to develop the skill and understand the band pattern working in that time frame.
I have a fairly modest set-up with antenna only near 40 ft.
Gain in the true 8 dbd range
Power level in the KW range.
I should note that the 2 stations in VA (FM17 & FM27) were only running 100 watts.
