11 meter is very quiet?

At 1500 CDT tuned to LSB-28 & 38 & 20 and was able to find sporadic TX on each. Was in northern AL.

RX on the revivified DX-99V2 was as good as hoped.

None of it lasted long.

Instead it was AM-19 ACTION DAY!! with 100+ miles of traffic wrecks from Atlanta to Birmingham.

We are at the very beginning of the next cycle, so the next few years we should see a big increase. Some reports say that this might be the biggest cycle ever recorded, we will see. With the increase in activity, we should see more new radios come out and the price of used equipment going up. I have a Sirio 4 element beam that hopefully will go up this spring, looking forward to some great DX.

I know this afternoon all I heard was Jamaica on my Radio,was really Strong Signal coming in and washing everyone else out on 38 LSB at least it seemed,no contacts for me,just listening tonight and now it's gotten quiet!!!

CH 20 AM. worked 133 in Bakersfield. Then Sportspage and skid row. Talked with the west side most of the afternoon. Then spoke with #1 Equalizer in Trinidad. Trainman just choo-chooing along.............
