11 meter is very quiet?

@Brother DXer
Very nice signal, you came right up in my radio for a good QSO, then mother nature moved the band.
Good talking to you.

Yes Sir! It was great QSO for sure. You were in my driveway for a few minutes before the band shifted.

Brother Dx'er, I heard you more than once today on 37 LSB!!
Couldn't get back through all the mayhem but I heard you out there!
I actually had a qso with a station not too far from you. And I wasn't hearing all the mayhem and madness. I was hearing loud and clear stations coming and going, and nothing more. Right place, right time I suppose.
Maybe tomorrow!

All over DX today. I made contact with 399 and heard a station from Chattanooga as 399 was talking to him (Chattanooga is about 200 miles north of me and my beam was pointed south) Heard stations in South Carolina (150 miles north east) Stations from Hawaii (many many miles west of me) stations from Canada, Arizona, Southern California all in the last 30 minutes.

I had a lot of good long Dx early in the afternoon, but when I came down to the shack at 8 pm to shut things down, I fired up the base. NOTHING but hash. Called CQ-DX anyway. I could hear stations buried deep in the mud coming back to me but I couldn't pull them out. Kept calling asking for the big strappers to point their antennas to Colombia and come back. Then heard 279 Athens Georgia and had a short QSO. Then 348, Atlanta, TONY, came in and we had a good 15 minute QSO. Then 86 Bruce from atlanta, 108 Walking Stick Trinidad, W90 Lake Wells, Florida, Then 275 Tim in Lake Wells FL keyed up S9 on my meter, He said he switched to his Stryker 955 with a bigger amp. We had a good solid 20 minute QSO.
These are the contacts I really love. When there are no conditions, but you MAKE your conditions.
Tried calling WDX stations but no contact.
Earlier in the day I had a nice QSO with WDX 481. Only forum member contact all week long
