11 meter is very quiet?

I haven't gone down to the shack since last Friday. Last week I got my 1st Hyaluronic Acid gel injections in my knees and for the first time in ages I could walk without my knees grinding and popping. Still a little pain, but my tendons and ligaments need to heal. Doc said no stairs and hill climbing. I tried going down the hill to the shack and knees started popping again. So no more radio until the treatments are done in April. Don't want to take a chance on screwing up these treatments. I've been walking like a cripple for so long, that walking normally again feels amazing.

Good Idea !! I have an old Craftsman riding mower. Runs good, but tires are toast. Got a new set but haven't put them on yet. I'll do that today. Make my own "Walmart Scooter."

Got in a little later than usual today so I found very little for conditions after powering up the station.

Don't feel alone. I tried to set at the radio a little this morning and shout out but conditions weren't going well. When I was traveling the same thing going on. Tomorrows another day.

I hear you brother, that freezing rain and ice ise destructive on just about anything, including the radio gear outside. Hopefully it doesn't get too heavy on the power lines and such.

Yup,I think we got more Sleet than Freezing Rain,they cancelled all of the local schools,and I had to move my Car inspection appt from this morning to later this afternoon due to the weather,at least it's on my day off,they are calling for another ice storm Sat night into Sunday morning,same set-up as today but only stronger I heard,Wonder if we can arrest that Groundhog up there in punxsutawney, LoL

Conditions this even were fantastic. Got home about 4 pm cst and worked dx solid until about 5:30 so it was a good one.

Get it while it's here fellas, because in a few years we'll be back to 11 meter silence again.
