11 meter is very quiet?

I enjoy looking at all the beauty,hard work and money that went into restoring these old classics. But realize I shouldn't complain about the money that goes into our radio hobby compared to these beauties. LOL Different strokes for different folks !

Got on the air around noon. Pretty quiet. Still
made a lot of contacts, mostly from Texas. Later in the afternoon dx picked up, but a lot of weekend idiots kept contacts at a minimum. When I called CQ the band lit up with people coming back to me. But too crowded to pull anyone out of the pile.

last few times here ,it was like scrambled voices. at the start of this solar cycle it was that way.
didnt matter the node or freqincy . or radio either

Well made 3 contacts out of Texas on 38 and 39 LSB this morning and then conditions seemed to die out up my way after that,gave a shout-out on 35 USB around 3pm, absolutely nothing other than some bleed over from a am station on the same frequency,no contacts today with any fellow WWDX Members out there,kinda of a bummer,but will try again next Sunday..........

I Signed on about 4:30 PM EST. Talked to several stations in Florida, Mississipi, Ohio, New York, Wisconsin, Texas, and Michigan on 37 Lower. I also called CQ for WDX stations on 35USB, but never a reply. The Texas stations were in Austin, Abilene, Odessa, Shamrock, and Houston. Shouted out for 226 Brother DXer but no hookup. try again tomorrow. 73.

Conditions were kind of intermittent early afternoon and was able to make some contacts. This evening it really opened up and had many contacts with some good lengthy qso's on the mix. I'll take it for the last day of vacation, back to reality tomorrow and dx is back on the side.
