Heard ya in there talking to Utah, boomed in then faded back out.
I heard a lot Ohio today too.
Heard El Capo fading in and out on 37LSB yesterday, only station at the time. Tried calling out but the barefoot Navaho just didn't have the grunt. I even had my scrap pile Moxon in the air
Yesterday I made two contacts to England, plus one to Nova Scotia, Canada then later I talked with a station from British Columbia, Canada as well.
I am just using an inverted v dipole at 22 feet to the feed point and less then a hundred watts. These were all on LSB, but not on 27.385. I'm looking forward to some good dx conditions this fall.
Maybe by then I will have a 5/8 ground plane up.

Same! Made mine with 14awg stranded from an old extension cord. It's my primary horizontal when I don't have the moxon up. That and 20 watts has logged 41 states, a few in Europe, The Caribbean Islands, all over Canada...
Spotty conditions here in my part of the Lonestar but we're standing by!

It's like still catching some fish on a bad fishing day. I was able to pull in 010 on the big island, number 1 Jamaica, a couple of Florida and one out of New Brunswick so it wasn't too bad considering the conditions.
All weekend was great, here in Southern Indiana we heard the West coast top to bottom, now today nothing at all, I guess that guy got his church clothes off finally and got his work clothes on today
Looks like those conditions we are all waiting for aren't here yet and still spotty. I heard very little yesterday so I was just being a bum and should have gone fishing.
Conditions look good from S. America to the eastern seaboard USA this morning. Gonna head down to the shack now (12 noon) and give it a try. 37 lsb.

Conditions today were not particularly favorable. There wasn't a lot of traffic. However, I was hearing stations in Arizona and California. One California station was talking to someone in Hawaii. I was picking them up both, but nobody was hearing me and my barefoot base.
